On behalf of the Board, it is a great pleasure for us to invite you to attend the 15th Annual Conference of the Egyptian Society of Cardiothoracic Surgery ( ESCTS ) organized by the department of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery ,Ain-Shams University that will take place in Cairo Sheraton Hotel from 12 – 14 March 2008.
This interactive meeting will focus on advanced surgical techniques and new technologies available in the field of cardiothoracic surgery as well as the state of the art in diagnostic methods.

Our field of profession is facing numerous challenges but with better understanding, improvement in techniques, the implementation of the new technologies and opening new fields in our profession as cell therapy and tissue engineering, port-access and robotic surgery we can overcome these challenges.
You are also invited to send videos that show your personal surgical experiences related to the topics of the meeting, that will be then presented and discussed during specific interactive sessions related to each topic of the meeting.
